Summary
Support the 24x7 operation of the factory by planning and conducting activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.
Duties:
Support the 24x7 operation of the factory.
Perform testing in lab on production components.
Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component.
Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, and company quality records.
Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
Oversees and manages all quality data related to production of components.
Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures.
Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities. Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities. Prepares and presents technical and program information to team members and management.
Directs technical and administrative workers engaged in quality assurance activities. Maintains a working knowledge of company quality assurance codes and standards.
Audit production
Respond to all quality related issues on production floor.
Act as quality expert in assigned area(s) both internally and externally.
And all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/
Experience:
Bachelor of Science in engineering degree and a minimum of 5 years of quality experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Six sigma green belt or black belt certificate, lead auditor certification, and chemistry experience is preferred.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate technical procedures with colleagues whose 2ndlanguage is English. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
A solid understanding of trigonometry, algebra and some experience with statistics.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, both individually and as part of a team. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
Intermediate skills in Microsoft programs
Basic skills with MRP, Quality & Supply Chain Systems
