Summary:
Coordinatesthe replenishment and distribution of Bill of Material (BOM) items, consumables,and the procurement and distribution of materials, parts, equipment, and suppliesfor the organization by performing the following duties:
Duties:
Coordinates all activities related to replenishment of all BOM commodities.
Analyzes MRP in relation to requirements of the commodity, including lead-time, order size, securing supplier is delivering in relation to the latest Technical Purchasing Specification (TPS) .
Uses MRP to replenish tools and Bill of Material consumables based on Max/Min levels of inventory.
Secures and optimizes core data for commodities that are updated and reflects reality, including lead time, order size, and/or order point.
Where applicable; sends out forecast to suppliers in cooperation with the category Manager.
Contacts suppliers resolving issues with deliveries on time or items that do not follow quality specifications.
Assures commodity is delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, and meets the quality standards of the company.
Interacts with Warehouse to resolve receiving issues on Purchase orders.
Maintains timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records.
Responsible for commodity, Bill of Materials and relevant component purchase orders.
Receives quantity and matching invoices, so invoices can be paid.
Coordinates appropriate methods needed to distribute commodity in a cost effective manner.
Works with Vestas Blades Sourcing Category teams and Americas Sourcing team to resolve potential issues with Suppliers.
Secures that SOX rules and controls are followed, and documentation filled accordingly.
Applies Lean tools to processes.
Handles daily exception codes.

Qualifications:

Education/
Experience:
Bachelor of Science/Administration in Business Administration is preferred. Three to five years direct experience in manufacturing, commercial and/or technical industry is preferred.
LanguageAbility:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract,multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
ReasoningAbility:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Knowledge and experience of MRP systems
Experience with Lean principles
Advanced skills in Microsoft programs and Database knowledge
